My main philosophical interests are phenomenology, Critical Theory, moral philosophy, and metaphilosophy. (For the – blessedly? – uninitiated, there is some explanation of those terms here.) My present teaching is with the University of Essex.

But right here I’d like to mention this news: the publication of Philosophy and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy – a book that philosophizes via the wonderful Hitchhiker books (The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, et cetera) by Douglas Adams.
